Name: Dawnfeather(star)
Gender: Female
Age:20 moons
Desired Rank: Leader if possible
Desired Clan: Stormclan
Physical Description:
Dawnfeather's pelt is silver with black dapples over it and black stripes on her tail. Her eyes are the color of green agate and the shape of almonds. Toward the top of her back, the silver gets darker and turns to gray. On the backs of her paws are black. On her legs and tail, the dapples give way to stripes. Her build is angular and her muzzle is more pointed than most cats. Her nose is pink rimmed in black. Her over-all look is more wild than most cats. Even though this fact is true, she also has an interesting, noble air. She carries herself with pride and an aloof grace. Her fur is soft, but is short and has a bright sheen. Her eyes seem to glint with a certain sinister knowing that scares most cats.
Personality: Dawnfeather is nearly always in a dark mood. Her favorite saying is 'Never Go Back' because she has abandoned her past. Whenever asked about herself, she becomes extreemly quiet and generally goes off into the forest. Her emotions are nearly always locked away and she is a loner by nature. She is now detirmined to be a good leader. She always keeps a solitary air about her, but she cares about her clan deeply. She often acts hostile, but can show great compassion for others. She has a special liking of kits, elders, and queens but is on 'Nuetral ground' with most of her warriors. She's often hotheaded and sometimes she'll try too hard, but she's a good leader and warrior. Her loyalty will often shine through, and sometimes that will be her disadvantage. Her heart is true even though she never shows it. She has a special connection with StarClan.
Character's Past: Dawnfeather always keeps her past to herself, but it is as follows:
Dawnfeather, a tiny dull gray she-kit(without any dapples) and a black tom-kit was born into the big city. A black she cat who's claws have been studded with dogs' teeth licked the gray kit gently and whispered her name softly to her, "Feather." The other she called "Wing." The kits squirmed and wailed, knowing something bad was soon to happen. One day their mother left the nest to hunt, and never returned. Feather and Wing barely grew and nearly starved to death, but were taken in by another she-cat named Moon who was nursing a single kit of her own-'Dusk', a dull gray tom. Dusk, Feather and Wing now grew rapidly, taught to hunt, fight, and other life lessons by Moon.
After about ten moons, Wing and Moon were killed by a dog. Dusk and Feather were filled with terror and utterly mortified, ran. They ran for as long as their paws would let them. They found themselves in a dense forest. Dusk and Feather became entirely reliant on each other for the next five moons, hunting and caring for each other. Then Dusk just disappeared. Feather, through her daze of grief, wandered into Stormclan camp. There she was met by friendly cats who greeted her with polite coolness and the leader who welcomed her into his clan. Feather learned of the warrior code and of StarClan. She soon became fiercely loyal and the strongest warrior in StormClan. She wanted to forget all about her other family and the cat she had loved, but her dull gray pelt reminded her constantly of Dusk. She began to hate her pelt. One night, she was sleeping in her nest and a starry cat visited her. It said "Hello, Feather. I have come to praise you for doing what was right and holding a pure heart, though you have done few sins. Now, your pelt which was the one thing you hate about yourself shall be changed to match who you are." Her pelt then became silver and black spots appeared on it like drops of rain, though there is still a bit of dull gray visible along her spine. Then the cat spoke again "Now, from here on, you shall be called Dawnfeather for the cat you loved and the cat who loved you, Dusk." Feather woke and has lived as Dawnfeather. From here, she developed 'Never Go Back' as she tried to abandon her past further.

Roleplaying Example:Ummmmm, it's not one for Dawnfeather, but here:
Rabbitstar at the Moonpool:
“The all of starclan go with you” mewed a warrior Rainbowleaf. Rabbitfur nodded to the young warrior “I thank you.” The medicine cat approached them. “Are you ready to journey to the Moonpool?” The cat asked. Rabbitfur again dipped her head only lower this time. “Yes, yes let’s go.” Rabbitfur had tried to keep a calm composure ever since she’d murdered the former leader. ‘Oh how could I have done it?! What will starclan say!?’ She cried to herself. The medicine cat turned her head to Rabbitfur “come along then.” The medicine cat mewed. Rabbitfur struggled to keep a calm expression to replace the terrified one which had been there only seconds before.
The aged medicine cat with out waiting for a reply began to follow the twisted path. Rabbitfur didn’t make any effort to keep up. The same thoughts continued to pester her. ‘You killed the leader starclan will never accept you’ the voices chimed in harmony. Rabbitfur let out a hiss of annoyance. Thankfully the medicine cat didn’t turn. Rabbitfur tried in vain to push away the cruel thoughts that plagued her. ‘How could you let this happen?!’ Again the voices chimed. Rabbitfur gave a snort this time the medicine cat turned. “What was that?” She mewed in a voice that gave away hidden concern for the white warrior. The evening sun shown brightly and turning her white shaggy pelt to grey. “Are we almost there?” Rabbitfur inquired politely. The medicine cat turned “we should be there presently. Rabbitfur nodded in reply. Her eyes glowed but not with the excitement of general young leaders. But with terror of what starclan might say or do now that she was as good as a murderer! “We’re there” the voice of the gentle medicine cat made her jump. Rabbitfur looked up and stared a glimmering pool bubbled before her. “It’s beautiful!” She exclaimed the medicine cat nodded. Rabbitfur took her place at beside the pool. ‘Here goes nothing’ she thought as she extended her tongue to lap up some of the ice cold water.
“Rabbitfur” a voice sounded Rabbitfur almost yowled in terror she looked up to see the former leader standing in front of her. “I let my ambition get the better of me I’m truly sorry!” She poured out herself like water over a sandy cliff. The former leader smiled but said nothing but, “Welcome Rabbitfur, are you ready to receive your nine lives?” Rabbitfur stared at the old tom “yes!” she stammered. The former leader placed his nose upon her head. “With this life I give you courage, use it well in defense of your clan.” Rabbitstar nodded absent mindedly still gawking at the former leader of Iceclan. Therefore she was not prepared for the bolt of energy that was shot through her body burning all of her veins and singeing her pelt. She gasped for breath the old tom before her smiled and walked away. She was so much in shock that she did not see a young she cat rapidly approaching. She tried to speak but only murmurs of surprise came out. It was her best friend during kit and apprentice hood who had received a mysterious message from starclan telling her to leave the clan and travel on a strange journey. “So you did not survive Pigeonpaw.” Mewed Rabbitfur her voice cracked with sorrow. Pigeonpaw nodded. The grey tabby quickly regained her former starry graveness and lightly tapped Rabbitfur’s head with her nose and said these words, “with this life I give you justice!” Pigeonpaw murmured. “Use it well to judge the actions of others.” She finished dipping her head to Rabbitfur. Rabbitfur’s heart twisted with grief as she saw the next approaching cat. It was Leafshadow! The lost love of Rabbitfur! “Oh Leafshadow!” Rabbitfur gushed. The brown tom nodded and gave her a look so full of love. “With this life I give you loyalty to know what you know to be right. Use it well to guide your clan in times of trouble.” Rabbitfur prepared herself for the coming life but all Rabbitfur felt was a warm glow of strong love. ‘Was this Leafshadow’s love for her?” She wondered in a dreamy manner. When she turned up again she saw a towering figure! It was the evil former leader of a rouge pack. The cat who she knew to be her father. “My daughter I visit you from the path of no stars to see you on your way to leadership.” The huge tom hissed his voice glowing with pride. “With this life I give you tireless energy!” He hissed eyeing Rabbitfur. “Use it well to carry out the duties of a leader, Run!” Rabbitfur felt as if she could run forever. She was inclined to make a dash if it weren’t for a look given to her by her lover Leafshadow. She forced herself to stay as she watched her father slowly disappear. Terror gripped at Rabbitfur. “Fear not young Rabbitfur.” Sounded a voice which seemed to come from all of starclan. She made her fur lie flat on her back as she waited for the next life. To Rabbitfur’s surprise the next cat was her foster mother. Cloudedfire! “With this life I give you protection! Use it well to care for your clan like a mother cares for her kits.” She told Rabbitfur solemnly. Rabbitfur was ready for this life! Having given birth before. It was a bolt of pure anger. A desire to kill all who did kill! It was a feeling of what could best be described as protection! Rabbitfur felt some remorse as she saw the next figure gliding toward her. It was her impossible apprentice Flaringpaw! The two had never gotten along and one day after on of there fights Flaringpaw had drowned himself! “I’m sorry!” Cried Rabbitfur Flaringpaw nodded in reply and mewed, “With this life I give you mentoring” he declared! “Use it well to train the young cats of your clan!” A great pang of sorrow coursed through Rabbitfur. “I’m sorry” she yowled again. But Flaringpaw had already left. Rabbitfur didn’t recognize the next cat. But she knew well enough that it must be Dapplelight. The medicine cat that had helped her mother give birth to her. The medicine cat had died of old age shortly after. “With this life I give you compassion! Use it well to protect your elders, the sick, and all those weaker than yourself!” Rabbitfur nodded in a respectful way. The next cat was a stranger but obviously one who new her. “I’m your mother.” The voice was soft and tinged with affection. “With this life I give you love! Use it well for all the cats in your care.” Rabbitfur felt light pouring onto her. Nothing but love! Nothing mattered but LOVE! She thought as her mother backed away. A new cat came loping up to her. “Peasantleaf!” She cried. This cat had been her mentor and a fabulous one at that! Peasantleaf smiled and touched Rabbitfur’s head. “Ah my sweet apprentice how I loved mentoring you!” Peasantleaf smiled and spoke these words, “with this life I give you nobility and certainty and faith!” She declared. “Use it well to lead your clan in the ways of the warrior code!” Rabbitfur let out a little moan of grief. “I will” she promised. It was Peasantleaf who said it and it was to Rabbitfur’s great displeasure that the words were given. “Now my friend it is time to leave to your clan my dearest ‘Rabitstar!’ ” Rabbitstar’s tail drooped as she began to float back to the world of the waking. As she left she could hear the chant of ‘Rabbitstar, Rabbitstar’. Rabbitstar arose silently eyes brimming with the wisdom of starclan. The medicine cat arose next to her “well Rabbitstar lets return to Iceclan.” Rabbitstar nodded vigorously she was eager to acquaint her clan mates with the idea that she was leader!
She followed the medicine cat back down the twisted path through Iceclan territory. Could it be true? She had truly faced and spoken with starclan, ‘Rabbitstar!’ Wow that was something to be proud of! She had received a name the name Rabbitstar! And she would NEVER forget it! She focused her attention on the night air. How chilling it was. She tried to occupy her mind with Ideas of this sort. But it was useless she was entirely transfixed on the amazement she felt. She has spoken to starclan and not trembled. Yes she was getting a bit thingyy with the idea but wouldn’t you? There was no end to the things Rabbitstar told herself were true! Millions of them had now been added due to her new rank. Rabbitstar, leader of Iceclan! That’s what cats would call her. That’s what she truly was! She would forever be known as the great forever living entirely perfect leader of icecla- she ran into a tree, and thus begun her stupidity! Which forever more would result in the giving away of territory and the inflicting of unfair punishments!
