Hello everyone, welcome to Dark Souls. I know most of you must be pretty confused about some of the things going on. Two leaders? Two sets of Warriors? The four Clans have reduced to two? I'll try to answer all of your questions here, so just keep reading for answers!
Let's start with the FAQ's. Frequently Asked Questions.
Q.1 -- I'm confused. What are we supposed to do on this site anyway?
A.1 -- This is a roleplaying site, an RP. You create characters and act as them through posts that seem to tell stories. But first things first, you need to read the rules. So after you go to the board called "The Warrior Code", you can head over to the "Biographies" board. There, you will find a form to fill out.
Q.2 -- How do I make a character?
A.2 -- To make a character, you have to create a biography. To do that, you need to go to the board called "Application Arena". After you get there, click on "Form". There, you will find the form to create a biography with. Copy it and make a new thread in the Application Arena board. Paste the form into the text box and fill it out. The form will give you tips as to how to do so. Be sure that your subject of the thread includes your character name and the Clan they belong in. Ex., "Shadeflight - FrozenClan". Post the thread when you're done filling out your biography and wait for a staff member to accept it. After it's accepted, you can start roleplaying! Hint: The longer the descriptions, the better!
Q.3 -- I have my character now! But how do I roleplay?
A.3 -- Roleplaying is just like writing stories, but you're pretending to be the character as you write. Basically, you write in third person mode with your character. Like this:
Shadepaw crouched to the ground as he saw a dark brown mouse munching on some sort of food. He bgan to creep toward it, being cautious with every silent paw step. The mouse twitched its ears. When Shadepaw was a tail-length away, he prepared to pounce. Just as he began to leap at his prey, a twig snapped behind him, followed by a bird's squawk.
"Great," grumbled Shadepaw. "So much for lunch."
Q.4 -- Can I be a staff member?
A.4 -- Perhaps. If I end up trusting you enough after a while and you prove to me and everyone that you can take good care of the site, I will make you a staff member. But I will NOT if you just come up to me randomly and ask to be a staff member.

Q.5 -- Why are there new Clan names?
A.5 -- If you read the plot, you'll find out why. Same with a question such as, "Why are there only two Clans?" or "Why are there two leaders?"
Q.6 -- Why is the site called "Dark Souls"?
A.6 -- Well, I believe the Clans have gone a bit hostile towards each other since they've combined the four Clans to two. With the new amount of cats in the two Clans, they tend to become slightly more desperate to protect each other and work harder to survive. So they've become "dark".
